Lordsburg, New Mexico is a town located on the Continental Divide Trail at mile 85. It is the closest significant town to the trail's Southern Terminus. Interstate 10 passes through the town.
Facilities
There are a number of hotels in Lordsburg. Most hikers choose to stay at the Econo-Lodge as they offer a preferable rate for hikers. The Continental Divide Trail Coalition also operate a shuttle to the Southern Terminus from this hotel in hiking season. Budget-conacious hikers can also choose to camp in the Veteran's Park.
There is both a Dollar General and Family Dollar in town. Hikers can also resupply from Saucedo's Supermarket.
