The Eastern Continental Trail (ECT) is an approximately 5,300 mile long distance hiking trail in Eastern North America. It extends from Key West, Florida, to Belle Isle, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
It consists of the following sections:[1]
- Key West/Everglades Roadwalk (KER) 175 miles
- Florida Trail
- Alabama Roadwalk (ALR) 190 miles
- Appalachian Mountains Trail 3800 miles
- Pinhoti Trail 295 miles
- Benton MacKaye Trail 65 miles
- Appalachian Trail 2150 miles
- International Appalachian Trail 1285 miles
