Northville Placid Trail

The Northville Placid Trail (NPT) is a 138 mile long hiking trail in Northern New York.[1]

It is maintained by the Northville Placid Trail Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club.[2]

Standard direction(s) of travel: Northbound (Northville to Lake Placid) or Southbound (Lake Placid to Northville)

Season: Typically mid-summer to early fall.

The entirety of the Northville-Lake Placid trail lies within the Adirondack Park. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is responsible for management of the Adirondack Park, including the Northville-Lake Placid Trail.
