Overview

The Trans-Catalina Trail is a long distance hiking on Santa Catalina Island, located about 29 mi (47 km) south-southwest of Long Beach, California. It is approximately 38.5 miles (62 kilometers) long. The trail's southern terminus is at the Hermit Gulch Campground in Avalon, California. The northern terminus is Two Harbors, California.

Permits and Regulations

  • Permits may be obtained online at the Catalina Island Conservancy's website.
