Barrel Spring is a prominent water source on the PCT, located at mile 101.

It is a natural spring which is piped into a concrete trough. This is usually a reliable source early in the hiking season, particularly in wet or high snow years. Even if there is no water running from the pipe, there is usually water in the trough.
