There is conflicting information as to whether there is still a Post Office in Julian. As of October 2019, USPS no longer lists it on their website, although this conflicts with other information online. Verify for yourself before attempting to send a package to the Post Office!

Julian, California is a small town located west of the Pacific Crest Trail at mile 77. Julian mainly caters to tourists. As a result, there is not a whole lot of interest to hikers but it is still possible to do a fairly decent resupply here. There are also a few quirky shops and places to stay.

Thru-hikers will likely be interested in paying a visit to 'Mom's Pies', where they can obtain a free serving of pie, ice cream and a drink on production of a valid PCT permit.
